"Works fine for keeping track of stock"
Boxhero has been decent for us when it comes to tracking stock and seeing what came in or went out. That part is easy enough to follow, and it usually does what we need. The order management side is okay too, but sometimes it feels a little slow, especially when you’re changing this or that on an order. For our small team, it gets the job done, but I do wish some of the settings and details were a bit easier to find.

"Had a gut feeling lot tracking would be clunky"
I could tell quickly that the lot tracking wasn’t going to feel as easy as I’d hoped. It technically worked, but entering serial numbers got old fast, and trying to dig up older items felt like more clicking than it should’ve been. Support did respond, which I appreciated, but my gut feeling was right — they didn’t really solve the workflow issue. It’s probably fine if you’re just doing basic inventory, but for lots and serials, I wouldn’t choose it again.

We’ve been using BoxHero almost every day to check stock, it’s been really dependable. I was a little worried at first about whether it would slow down or glitch when multiple people were updating items at the same time, but it’s handled that just fine. Pages load quickly, and I can’t remember any major downtime since we started. It’s a simple thing, but after trying it, I feel relieved knowing we can actually count on it.

"Helpful, but why the delays??"
I like that shared access makes it easy for our team to work together, but the updates don’t always show up right away for us. It’s useful overall, just a little frustrating when you’re waiting and wondering, did it save yet??

"Bulk import got me out of a time crunch"
I had a ton of items to move around and felt kind of trapped by how long it was going to take manually. The bulk import and export made it way easier than I expected, and I got everything done without the headache...

"Helpful for Keeping Expiry Dates in Check"
We mainly use BoxHero to manage expiration dates for our inventory, and overall, it has been quite useful. It makes it easy to spot which items need to be used or shipped out first, which saves us a lot of hassle. The setup took a bit of time to get just right, but once everything was in place, it started working smoothly. I’m giving it 4 stars because a few screens can feel a little slow at times, but besides that, it does the job well.

I mainly use BoxHero for printing item labels, and overall it’s been solid. The barcode labels print clearly, and getting it set up wasn’t as intimidating as I thought it might be, even with our basic printer.
The only thing I ran into was needing to tweak the label size a couple of times before everything lined up correctly. It wasn’t a major problem, but I did find myself wishing there was a little more guidance or reassurance that I was setting it up the right way.

"Solid and Reliable for Stock Tracking"
I’ve been using BoxHero for a few months now, and overall it’s been really helpful for keeping track of our stock. The numbers are usually accurate, and it’s made it easier for us to spot issues before they turn into bigger problems. We’ve had a couple of small mismatches, mostly when someone forgot to update something, so it’s not completely foolproof. But for day-to-day use, it’s been solid. I feel a lot more organized and less stressed knowing we can catch things faster...

I’ve been using the categories and tags for a bit now, maybe a week, or it might’ve just felt that long — and they’ve been straightforward. Adding and organizing stuff is easy, and it mostly works how I expected. My only gripe is that bulk edits can feel a little slow, especially when I’m trying to clean up a bunch of items at once.

BoxHero’s been surprisingly easy for our team to stick with. I think the main thing is that it didn’t make us change everything around, it fit into the stuff we were already using, which matters more than people admit. The mobile app and web version stay in sync well, so nobody’s asking, “Wait, which one is updated?” all day. Also, the barcode scanner setup was way less annoying than I expected. I was prepared for some random troubleshooting rabbit hole, but it was straightforward. Exports into our sheets work fine too. It’s not some flashy, overcomplicated tool, but that’s kind of why I like it. It just does the job and doesn’t create a bunch of weird little problems.

"Privacy details threw me off"
I gave BoxHero a try for a little while and at first I was like, okay, this seems useful. But then I started looking around for the privacy and security details, and suddenly I wasn’t feeling so confident. Some of the data settings felt a bit vague to me, and I couldn’t quite tell what I had control over. Maybe it’s totally fine, but when it comes to business info, I’d rather not guess.

I started using BoxHero mainly to keep track of items, and for that part it worked well at first. Where it got annoying was trying to make sense of my transaction history. I found myself going back to the audit trail more than I expected just to understand what had changed and when. A few updates weren’t very clear to me either, and when I reached out to support, the response took longer than I would’ve liked. It’s not a terrible app, but based on my experience, I expected the overall process to feel a lot smoother for what it costs.

"Helpful reports, but they only go so far"
Boxhero has been decent for keeping an eye on inventory reports and tracking stock changes. I can pull the daily numbers without much trouble, and it has helped me catch a few mistakes sooner than I used to.
That said, the analytics still feel basic. When I’ve tried to get more detailed answers, it kind of feels like I’m being passed around between exporting data, filtering it somewhere else, and piecing things together myself. It’s not bad overall, but I do wish there were more custom reports and better built-in filtering.

"Setup Was Kind of a Hassle"
The onboarding was, like, a lot more confusing than I thought it would be. It ended up taking longer than expected, and I kept having to reach out to support for basic setup questions. They helped, but yeah, I just wish the whole process had been a little more straightforward from the start

"Works well for our big item list"
We’ve been using BoxHero for a catalog with a few thousand SKUs, and it’s held up better than I thought it would. Searching for stuff and updating items is still fast, and being able to add new products in bulk saves us alot of time.

I’m not giving it 5 stars because a few screens can feel kinda cramped when there’s a ton of data, and setup took some trial and error at first. But overall it scales fine for us and hasn’t been a headache, which is really all we needed tbh.
